Keeping our customers’ premises safe during COVID-19

With all the uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus and the impact it is having on our day-to-day lives, we wanted to reassure you that for the Venture team it is business as usual and we are here to help, should you need us.

Our security officers are classed as ‘critical workers’, due to the essential role they play in alleviating pressure on the police and legal system. As such, we continue to provide a full range of services, 24/7, with stringent plans in place to ensure business continuity.

• City Centre Security Patrols

We know that opportunist criminals are already trying to take advantage of this challenging situation. Having a physical security presence on site, or visiting on a regular basis, is a great deterrent. Plus, our security officers can help spot other issues whilst your premises are empty, such as open windows, burst pipes and even water plants, preventing additional problems down the line.

Keeping team members safe

Protecting the health and wellbeing of our team members is our top priority and we have introduced a range of additional safety measures and procedures to do so.

For example, our mobile patrol officers have been provided with gloves, hand sanitizer and detergent and will be wiping down any surfaces they need to touch, including twice daily cleans inside their vehicles. All our officers are also observing social distancing when coming into contact with anyone and adopting stringent handwashing and/or use of hand sanitizer.

We continue to closely monitor the guidance and advice being issued by government and to communicate daily with our officers. Individual risk assessments have been carried out and in the event of illness, we have contingency plans in place to ensure continuity of service.
