Thank you for your interest in Venture Security. Anyone who wishes to work as a security operative with us must hold the correct valid SIA license to practice. However, we would also like to hear from those with the right personality who do not hold a license, as we also have a number of unlicensed positions available for events throughout the year.

To be employed in an operational role at at Venture Security you should:

  • Be physically fit
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Have exceptional customer service skills
  • Be able to make decisions quickly
  • Have a sound knowledge of licensing law (door supervisors)
  • Be able to defuse potentially violent situations
  • Have a clear understanding of health and safety
  • Be willing to continually develop yourself through relevant training
