Top Marks for Venture Security

Andover-based company Venture Security are delighted to announce that their results from a recent assessment conducted by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) have placed them yet again in the top 5% of security companies in the UK, with their highest score to date.

The SIA’s Approved Contractor Scheme is intended to raise performance standards and assist in the development of the private security industry, so Venture Security are delighted to have achieved a score of 133, which puts them among the top 38 security companies in the country.

Managing Director, Paul Howe comments:

“Gaining this recognition from such a valued organisation in the industry is a real honour and reflects our commitment and dedication to providing a professional security service to both corporate and domestic clients in North Hampshire and the surrounding Counties."

For those employing the services of a security company, choosing an ACS accredited supplier helps to ensure that security obligations to staff, shareholders and other stakeholders are met. Approved contractors are required to demonstrate a commitment to customer care and agree to the compulsory licensing of their staff. This protects customers, offers a higher level of service and ensures that all operatives on their premises are working legally.  Other benefits include:

  • An exemplary and professional service (The ACS is a voluntary scheme and those who are accredited are market leaders and proactive, dedicated members of the industry). You can expect accredited providers to be highly responsive to change and swift to adopt new methods and best practices.
  • The extended Police family (The status of the ACS is recognised and endorsed by the police, offering the potential for enhanced working relationships).
  • Continuity of service (Approved Contractors can be given special dispensation to employ staff who have completed their training and are waiting for their SIA licence application to be processed). Approved Contractors will therefore be able to offer greater flexibility and operational effectiveness when supplying security services.
