Venture in top 5% of all SIA Approved Companies

Venture Security, Hampshire's premier manned security provider, has celebrated another huge achievement in retaining its status as a member of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS). The score has increased from 106 in last year’s assessment to 117, placing Venture in the top 5% of all SIA Approved Contractors in the UK, a total of 745 companies as at the end of August 2012.

Venture also continues to hold ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, one of the world’s most widely recognised standards, signifying the company’s ongoing commitment to continual improvement. Both the ACS and ISO 9001 standards cover all areas of the business, which include; security guarding and mobile patrols, keyholding and alarm response, close protection services and door supervision.

Paul Howe, Venture’s Managing Director said, “ISO 9001 is often not a customer requirement, however our commitment to maintaining both of these standards sends out a positive message to stakeholders, especially prospective customers and is vital to our future development. It proves the existence of a quality management system and demonstrates that the staff we provide are suitably vetted, trained and qualified for the role they will be performing.”

Anthony Robson, Venture’s Operations Manager, stated that “Maintaining our accreditations is essential for us to build on our existing successes and to continue developing the business. In addition to this, we have employed an Office Manager, Caroline Roodhouse who joined us in May. Caroline is a fundamental member of the team, supporting the company’s management to maintain the systems and procedures which are integral to the organisation. ”
