Long service award for Mobile Patrol Officer Otis!

Otis is one of Venture Security’s most experienced officers and this week he reached a milestone 10 years as a full-time employee with the company.

In recognition of his long service, we were delighted to present him with a £100 Amazon voucher, along with some of his favourite treats - Monster Energy drinks and ice cream!  

As a mobile patrol supervisor, Otis works operationally and also supports our wider mobile team, as well as covering static guarding assignments when needed.

Before joining Venture, Otis was a soldier in the British Armed forces. He first started working in security as a second job while still in the army before going on to join the team at Venture full time.

Otis said: “Working at Venture feels like home. Every day I come to work, it feels like a place I want to be!  My favourite part of the job is the freedom to work by myself. I get my brief and can just get on with it, knowing back up is always there if I need it.

“Meeting with clients is really good too. Clients are always happy to see us, and I really like the client relation part of the job and getting to know them. A smile goes a long way.”
